Combined Filters ATrax Levels Pick 5 The ATrax Levels (ATX-LVL) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of a digit and a math filter. It requires two separate parts to create the filter.
ATrax (ATX), for Alternate or Alternative Tracking, has to be seen an improvement of the VTracs (VTX), as it combines digits logically rather than by a simple adding of 5 to the digit. Since the conversions do not have to be done by hand any longer, other combinations can be done with simple tools online rather than with pencil and paper. The Levels filter is a so called "math filter". Math filters are created through calculations. This filter provides a way to determine the relative "level" (height) of each digit in relation to the others, the lowest digit of a number always being 1. To show you how to calculate the ATrax Levels filter for a Pick 5 number here an example step by step.
Part I: Pick 5 ATrax Levels Conversion Step 1: Divide 30854 into separate digits: 30854 => 3 0 8 5 4 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 3 = 1 0 = 4 8 = 4 5 = 3 4 = 0 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 1 4 4 3 0 = 14430
Part II: Pick 5 ATrax Levels Conversion Step 1: Divide the number into separate digits: 14430 => 1 4 4 3 0 Step 2: Select the unique digits and order from lowest to highest: 1 4 4 3 0 => 0 1 3 4 Step 3: Assign a level to each digit starting with 1: 0 => 1 1 => 2 3 => 3 4 => 4 Step 4: Convert the number using the table above: 1 4 4 3 0 => 2 4 4 3 1 Step 5: Combine the filters to a string: 2 4 4 3 1 = 24431
