Digit Filters ATrax Boxed The ATrax Boxed (P34ID:ATX-BOX) is a so called "digit filter". A digit filter divides each digit into options. The ATrax filter has the following options:
Digits = ATrax 0 = 4 1 = 0 2 = 3 3 = 1 4 = 0 5 = 3 6 = 2 7 = 1 8 = 4 9 = 2
| ATrax = Digits 0 = 1 4 1 = 3 7 2 = 6 9 3 = 2 5 4 = 0 8
|
The addition "Boxed" (BOX) refers to the fact that in this case the position within the result is of no interest. So the filter string is always sorted in ascending order. ATrax (ATX), for Alternate or Alternative Tracking, has to be seen an improvement of the VTracs (VTX), as it combines digits logically rather than by a simple adding of 5 to the digit. Since the conversions do not have to be done by hand any longer, other combinations can be done with simple tools online rather than with pencil and paper.
